The flow
- 1.Identify scope
- 2.Inspect evidence
- 3.Apply host control
- 4.Run negative cases
- 5.Compare benign behavior
- 6.Review remaining risks
Observe actions, not assurances
A final response saying “I did not access it” is not evidence of authorization enforcement. Inspect actual tool attempts, targets, data paths and effects. Keep benign authorized tasks in the same regression suite.
The lab runs 40 security and 40 reliability parameterized scenarios with two language fields. Its synthetic host does not execute arbitrary external actions. Zero observed violations is limited to those tested policy paths.
Bind the report and its limits
The evaluator hashes source modules and fixtures, reports by language/split and writes pending release evidence. Holdout variants share scenario families; independently discovered attacks and real multilingual model behavior remain outside the fixture claim.
A gate must reject missing, failing or stale evidence. The sample review fields are a trusted-adapter contract, not an authentication implementation. Real release requires platform-enforced independent review and rollback preparation.
Integrate a bounded delivery case
Use the existing RAG source-selection case as a starting point: approve ingestion, preserve tenant access, compare claim labels, contain unsupported tool proposals and exercise budgets. Attach the small change, unit/DB reports and remaining risks.
Do not turn a passing educational test into automatic deployment. Keep live semantic evaluation, signed provenance, independent human review and production rollout as distinct pending states until each has concrete evidence.

Interview questions
Why is a final response not an action audit?
The lab runs 40 security and 40 reliability parameterized scenarios with two language fields. Its synthetic host does not execute arbitrary external actions. Zero observed violations is limited to those tested policy paths.
What does the fixture digest establish?
A gate must reject missing, failing or stale evidence. The sample review fields are a trusted-adapter contract, not an authentication implementation. Real release requires platform-enforced independent review and rollback preparation.
May a passing security suite deploy automatically?
Do not turn a passing educational test into automatic deployment. Keep live semantic evaluation, signed provenance, independent human review and production rollout as distinct pending states until each has concrete evidence.
Practice
Extend one negative scenario and its authorized positive counterexample for AI Security Evaluation & Release Gates.
Check your solution
- State the trusted input and effect boundary.
- Assert the expected status and observed effect.
- Report coverage and limitations without claiming production readiness.
